On Shannon’s day off earlier this week, we took a 25 minute bike ride along the canal toward the hospital and stopped to check out the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch.
This is a facility that recharges effluent water. You can read more about that at this link.
For us what it meant was we could take a break from the hustle and bustle, and right here in the middle of suburbia, enjoy a more natural environment full of wildlife.

This is how I got to your website today… I was reading your review on Campendium of Indian Bread Rock, Bowie AZ, then clicked on your website, and liked the van build. I retired two years ago from a hospital ER in Mesa, I have lived in Gilbert, hiked and shot photography at the Riparian many many times. I finished my own six-month van build in January 2020, we have vacationed eight weeks this year and loved it. Hoping to do more once my wife retires in 2022, and plan to hit the road for longer trips. I will be returning to your website to follow your adventures, thanks for the great website!
