We’ve recently come to realize there’s a name for people like us: FOODIES! And it’s true, we really love eating good food.

However we also want to know where it comes from and what all is in it.

The best way to accomplish that is to cook food ourselves, and keep it simple. Which is not all that easy – This means shopping the perimeter of the grocery store where all the fresh food is, and staying away, when possible, from the center aisles which are stocked with packaged, processed stuff full of chemicals and preservatives.

So we though we would start a new series to share some of the recipes and techniques we’ve learned.

This is homemade cooking for things like enchiladas, greek salad wraps, hash browns, chicken and wild rice soup… And we do all of these in our van! Stay tuned as we continue to add more.
