Rigby got some more upgrades finished this week. Check out the video that shows how we installed swivel adapters for our driver and passenger seats. We purchased them from the Sprinter Store just outside of Portland, OR.
Why swivel seats? Well, we figure that’s good usable space that we don’t want going to waste, so our seats will now also be part of our living space. (still need to work on our layout, but that’s a work in progress).
As you’ll see in the video, installing the driver’s side swivel requires repositioning the hand brake, which in turn requires readjusting the brake cable under the van. For that, we drove the van onto wheel ramps to make more room under there – keep in mind if you do this, CHOCK YOUR WHEELS so your van can’t roll anywhere unexpectedly. I did this, and even filmed me doing it, but then forgot to include that clip in the finished video.
