Monday morning we hit the road at 7:45 to begin the journey back home. Looking at the route Google maps had for us we saw that Four Corners Monument was only about an hour out our way and about 4 hours away so we planned to have lunch there.
Well the lunch hour came and went and by 3:30 we finally rolled up to Four Corners. And while it was kinda fun to quickly jump back and forth between 4 states and watch people snap silly photos of each other on all fours with one appendage in each state, it was also a bit of a let down after 7 hours of driving anticipation.
But it’s all good, and luckily Moab is only 2-1/2 hours away. We’ll sleep there tonight and do some riding in the morning.
